WATER BOTTLES, HEALTH, & TEENS for SAFE COSMETICS
Adolescent girls may be more susceptible to the cancer causing effects
of chemicals found in common beauty and household items.
Congratulations for our positive GREEN actions -- replacing plastic water bottles with metal or protected glass.
In continuing to support the health of our players and the environment, I'm posting
the following announcement from
Teens for Safe Cosmetics (TSC), a coalition of teenagers from Marin County,
whose new collection "Teens Turning Green" is free from known carcinogenic petrochemicals and toxins.
Most body/beauty products contain a combination of carcinogenic petrochemicals linked to hormonal cancers (breast, prostate, ovarian).
The following organizations present scientific data and product choices that are GREEN -- safe to use on our bodies:

'Teens Turning Green' is available at Whole Foods. Other local stores such as Earthbeam Burlingame, also sell safe beauty/home care products.
